Sharzad Halvaeian, O.D., specializes in primary eye care with an emphasis on corrective eye wear including the fitting of specialty contact lenses, glasses, vision therapy and pediatric eye care. Dr. Halvaeian received her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Houston in Houston, TX, graduating Cum Laude. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Houston, College of Optometry in Houston, TX, where she was elected to the prestigious Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society.
During her externship program, Dr. Halvaeian completed specialty rotations in vision therapy, cataract and laser vision correction surgery co-management, ocular disease management, the management of Glaucoma and geriatric optometry.
Dr. Halvaeian is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and is involved in several community service projects including Healthcare for the Homeless and the Special Olympics vision Screening Program.
Dr. Halvaeian see patients at all seven Mann Eye 2 locations, as well as at Mann Eye Institute.
